Programs
The Elyria Apple Festival, in partnership with the Lorain County Community College and the Elyria Parks and Recreation Department, will be hosting a 5K race/ Fun Walk on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 at 8:30a.m. The race/walk will start at Elywood Dr. and Washington Ave. Participants will run/walk on a course through Washington Ave. neighborhood. Parking and restrooms for the race will be available at Rapha Academy, 700 Gulf Rd. Runners who want to receive a t-shirt must register by September 1st at the Parks main office, 131 Court St. (City Hall) 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays or online at www.elyria.recdesk.com/Community/Program or 440-326-1500. Awards will be distributed in various age categories and the top five male and female finishers. Pre-race registration fees are $15 with a t-shirt if registered by September 1st and $10 without a t-shirt. Registration will be accepted the day of the race at Rapha Academy beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Note:
Thank you for supporting the Elyria Apple Festival 5K Race. The race/walk will be held on Sunday, September 21st, 2025. Please check in at the registration table located at Rapha Academy (Old Northwood Jr. High). The Race/Walk will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. at the intersections of Elywood Drive and Washington Avenue.
