Welcome to the Elyria Parks and Recreation Department Start Smart Basketball League. We hope you find the program instructional as well as fun.

The program will be held at the South Recreation Center off of 16th St.

Your child will meet on Tuesday, February 2nd for Orientation Day. This time of Orientation Day is TBD and will be indicated in the Welcome Email.

Attention Parents,
To give our program participants an excellent experience, we serve in collaboration with parents like you. Our commitment is to provide every parent/volunteer coach with the necessary resources to ensure confidence and structure as we prepare for the upcoming season. To begin with, we will have a brief meeting with staff and coaches to answer any question you may have. This meeting will take place in person or via zoom prior to the start of the season. At this meeting, we will hand out practice plans and other helpful documents for your convenience. As you sign you children up for this amazing program, please consider being one of our volunteer coaches.
